Art Direction

Whether it’s a seasonal photoshoot, a high-impact promotional moment, or a new product launch, getting to follow my “design compass” by providing art and concept direction is always a gratifying exercise — especially to then see how my teammates translate the direction and bring it to life across brand touchpoints.

The creative freedom in the early stages of a campaign is even more exciting when it’s paired with the problem-solving mindset of how the concept will actually be executed in a way that satisfies the brief, strikes a chord with the customer, and provides a cohesive, on-brand experience.

Design Direction

At both Champs Sports and Highlights Magazine, I’ve worked on numerous sets of design guidelines that informed the look and feel of product launches, upcoming seasons, new campaigns, and more. The talented designers and art directors that I’ve worked alongside then use the guides as visual foundations for all marketing assets, including in-store signage, email, website, social media, print collateral, and more.
